Must be available to respond in a timely fashion to questions, either by phone or email. Either short or long-term commitments are welcome. Individual and small group fundraising teams ... Youth, civic or church groups can help a lot by hosting a fundraising event and donating the roceeds to further this work. This could range from traditional fundraising events, such as bake-sales, car washes or a neighborhood garage sale to a direct mail campaign using our pre-written fundraising letters. Development assistant ... Coordinate development of proposals and narrative reports. Develop, manage and maintain databases. Cultivate donors via phone, email and mail contacts. Design, write and manage direct mail appeals. Highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy and familiar with variety of software. Helpful experience would include grant proposals and grant-writing, gathering detailed cost estimates, and contract management or reporting.
